Wood and Wrought Iron Arrow-form Weathervane,
probably New Hampshire, 19th century.
Carved white pine with pierced heart decoration, arrowhead and 3/8-inch drilled shaft are plated with sheets of iron, with rectangular recesses for the missing rear weight, traces of white paint on narrow carved surfaces, (minor splitting, missing rear weight), 106cm wide, 2cm deep, 20cm high (42in wide, 1in deep, 8in high).
