A George IV silver four bottle condiment set

Philip Rundell London 1822, one bottle mount Paul Storr 1816
The frame of square form, gadroon rim with acanthus and shell corners, with four lion mask capped pillars supporting the four circular receivers, with a shell capped side carrying handle, centre of frame with engraved crest used by the ANTROBUS family, fitted with four silver double lipped mounted collars, glass bodies and stoppers, height of bottles 13cm, weight of frame 20oz.

Footnotes

This is the crest used by the ANTROBUS family of Antrobus Hall, Cheshire and Rutherford co. Roxburgh. The family's principal residence is Antrobus Hall which they occupied in ancient time and regained ownership of at the time of assay (1822) for this item. Sir Edmund ANTROBUS (1752-1826), who in 1815 was created Baronet Antrobus of Cheshire. Sir Edmund ANTROBUS was never married and by special remainder the Baronetcy passed to the son of his brother, Sir Edmund ANTROBUS (1792-1870) 2nd Baronet.
