maker's mark IW, possibly John Wakefield, London 1819
Squat circular form with part fluted lower body, engraved above with twin crests, the gadroon rims interspersed with shells among oak leaves and acorns, leaf-capped handles, on foliate paw bracket feet, the teapot with ivory insulators, weight total 55.5oz. (3)
