At the time of assay (1816) George William COVENTRY (1784-1843) was Viscount Deerhurst (1809-1831), succeeding later in 1831 as 8th Earl of Coventry.
He married, firstly in 1808 Emma Susanna LYGON (1788-1810) then secondly in 1811 Lady Mary BEAUCLERK (1791-1845) daughter of Aubrey BEAUCLERK (1765-1815) 6th Duke of St Albans. He was MP for Worcester (1816-1826) and Lord Lieutenant of Worcester.
