Trefid spoons include: a lace-back trefid spoon, maker's for Lawrence Coles, and only a town mark, London, circa 1690, initialled; a William and Mary spoon, John King, London 1690, rat-tail bowl, initialled; a pair of William III spoons, John Ladyman, London 1698, ribbed rat-tail bowl, initialled; a dog nose spoon, Francis Archbold, marks rubbed; a bottom marked shell back marrow spoon, another with rat-tail reverse bowl; ten Hanoverian pattern bottom marked table spoons; three others with shell reverse bowls; seven Old English pattern bottom marked table spoons; four Old English feather edge bottom marked table spoons; twenty-three George III Old English pattern table spoons, all London; a pair of Irish provincial silver table spoons, John Nicholson, Cork, maker's mark struck twice, script JN, and stamped STERLING; an Exeter spoon; six other varying spoons; nine varying Fiddle pattern spoons; and some electroplated examples, weight of silver 135oz.
