A rare Norwegian silver-gilt and enamelled three-piece tea service
Aksel Holmsen, Oslo mid 20th century, import mark for Netherlands, incuse stamped 925S
Compressed baluster form, all three items silver gilt with contrasting red guilloche enamelling, the teapot with matching hinged domed cover, surmounted by a disc finial and a simple downward curved handle attached to the side, both in a moulded brown resin, a small covered spout opposite, all on a circular pedestal base, together with a matching twin-handled sugar bowl and milk jug, height teapot 15cm, weight total 33oz. (3)
