A George III silver cream jug

maker's mark R.G, possibly for Robert Garrard I, London 1805
In the early 18th century style of broad helmet form, scroll handle with shell applied to the upper junction, applied rim and girdle with chased bands below, and an applied winged cherub mask to the front, on three elongated supports with trefoil-capped junction, height 12.2cm, weight 10.1oz.
