Oval form with bead rim, the sides and foot with pierced scroll bands, the central band with flower head motifs, with fixed rope-twist handle, length 12cm, together with other silver items, comprising: a Dutch cigarette box embossed with a pastoral scene length 12.7cm, a George III silver pig toothpick holder, base only marked, maker I.S, London 1809, modelled standing with ears swept over the eyes, back pierced with holes and with hair effect, on an oblong base with wheels (one wheel lacking), length 8cm, a Victorian silver 'Crystal Palace' engraved vinaigrette, David Pettifer, Birmingham 1850, length 3.6cm, four other varying small vinaigrettes, a small French beaker, maker's mark AFH, possibly for Anne-François Hallet, or Antoine-François Hardivilliers, foliate chasing above a fluted lower body, height 5cm, a French cup and saucer, with engine-turned decoration, and an oval silver and tortoiseshell snuff box, weight total 22oz.
