A Victorian silver six-piece tea and coffee service

John Figg of London, London 1838, 1839 and 1843
Comprising: a baluster coffee pot with embossed and chased flora and fauna, in a matt effect against a polished ground, with a hinged domed cover topped by a cast floral spray finial, the spout and handle featuring an intricate bark effect scrolling handle and spout, the handle with ivory insulators, all on a circular rimmed foot, together with a squat circular tea pot, a twin-handled sugar bowl and jug with gilt interiors, and a pair of loaded coasters, all with similar decorative motifs and styling, and engraved with the same armorial, height coffee pot 24cm, weight total without coasters 72oz.
