A silver mounted cowrie shell sauce boat

unmarked, probably George III circa 1760
The main body formed by a genuine upturned cowrie shell, with a silver mounted scallop rim and a chased curling serpent handle, the whole raised on three animalistic feet attached by embossed shell mounts, length 12cm.
