The design of this jewellery box is influenced by the architecture of Spencer House (the London family home of the late Princess Diana) and Bridgewater House in Piccadilly and is corroborated by the David Linley workshop in a private insurance valuation letter for the vendor dated 1997.

Presented by the broadcaster Eamonn Holmes on GMTV to the vendor as the first prize for a phone-in competition, circa 1993.
