the seated lady wearing a wide panniered skirt with floral enamel decoration, her male companion, probably a huntsman, wearing a red frock coat and holding a dead game bird in one hand, a dead hare at his feet, leafy bocage to the rear, on naturalistic moulded floral oval base, enamelled in polychrome colours, the underside with underglaze crossed blue swords mark and incised mark 468. and impressed number 143, 26cm high
