A late 19th century Meissen porcelain figural group

in the 18th century style
moulded with three courting couples, the centralrock work pedestal surmounted by a seated maiden holding a spindle, her standing male companion holding a pocket watch, the conforming base with two further figural groups, one with a maiden holding a birdcage, her seated male companion holding a dove, the other with a seated sleeping maiden, her male companion endeavouring to rouse her from slumber, enamelled in pastel colours, on an interlaced roundel and foliate oval gilt moulded integral plinth, the underside with underglaze blue crossed swords mark and two scratched cancellation marks, with red painted number 44., the underside with old firing cracks, 29cm high
