probably late Meiji or Taisho period
each of slender baluster form with flared scalloped necks, the sides with moulded ring and formalised rope-tied pendant mounts, the bodies typically painted in iron red and other colours with figural scenes of male courtiers within garden landscapes, within formalised brocaded and floral and foliate borders with raised gilded decoration, raised on later hardwood stands vases 74cm high, bases 13cm high (4)
