the movement stamped Vincenti et Cie
the architectural case surmounted by a figure of Minerva kneeling on a plinth base beside an urn, the case with inset figural frieze, the 4.5" gilt Arabic dial with pierced recess centre, flanked by a pair of fluted Corinthian pilasters and two pairs of corresponding reeded columns on stepped base, the brass twin drum movement striking on a steel gong, the backplate with makers pastille, with pendulum and winder, 63cm high
