A rare group of fossil plants from this 49 million-year-old deposit which includes water plants: a tall red algae, Pterigophycos spectabilis, described by Messalongo, 1858, matrix measuring 48 x 18 cm; a leaf fossil, Protochis monorchis, matrix measures 17 x 13 cm; a positive/negative leaf fossil, Delesserites bolc., matrix measures 17 x 13 cm (with hooks attached for hanging); and a delicate Caesalpinia eocenia, (Unger Sorbizi, tav. XVI,2, Bolca), height 7 cm, matrix measures 10 x 10 cm. (5)
