A Meissen chinoiserie group, late 19th/early 20th century

After the 18th century model by J.J. Kaendler, the seated gentleman wearing yellow robes and playing the lute, his companion in floral robes embracing him and holding a saucer in her right hand, a coffee pot and teacup on a small table in front of them, 11cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model number 610X, impressed numeral and numerals in red (loss to tip of lute)
