A set of fifteen Nymphenburg plates, first half 20th century

Each decorated with a flower spray in the centre and three flowers and the purple monogram 'CvP' to the rim, all against a gilt-striped ground, 22.5cm diam., impressed shield mark and green-stencilled crowned shield mark above 'Nymphenburg' (very minor wear) (15)

The decoration is based on the Frankenthal gold-striped service made for Duke Christian IV of Pfalz-Zweibrücken around 1770.
