An unusual Louis XV gilt bronze and paste set medallion frame

In the goût grec taste, circa 1770-90
Of circular moulded form with egg and dart cast outer border and narrow inner rope twist and beaded band, the whole surmounted by an elaborate undulating ribbon tied cresting flanked by trailing graduated bell husk side garlands interspersed with paste set collars, above a formalised scrolling acanthus and fruiting laurel leaf knopped terminal, the frame later set with a convex mirror plate, the backboard with Rowley Gallery printed paper label, 58cm high, 35cm wide approximately
