APOLLO 13

FLOWN PIECE FROM THE ODYSSEY.
Metal shim segment, approximately 63 x 69 mm, being a piece from the Command Module hatch, with explanatory provenance sheet.

The provenance sheet includes a picture of the Command Module hatch as well as an image of the NASA Temporary Parts Removal Tag. "This shim is one of several that was used in the inside of the hatch. The scrap tag also references s/c 109 which is Apollo XIII's Odyssey. The Inspector's Post-Flight removal date is shown as 7/14/70, some 3 months after Odyssey's return from space also indicating that this shim flew on that mission."
