Ablative heat shield plug specimen, May 1969, approximately 41 cm long, encased in Lucite, 79 x 94 mm, molded into the form of the Apollo Command Module from which it came, with explanatory text on verso.

A specimen from one of the threaded plugs used to provide access points in the heat shield.
