NAGRA SN MINATURE REEL-TO-REEL RECORDER

Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder, Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland, 1970s, Solid milled block of metal with alloy lid, 146 x 99 x 29 mm, with standard microphone, what appears to be 3 different playback adapters and a floating head microphone for concealment, with supply and take up reels.
Provenance: City of Sterling Heights (metal tag to lower panel).

The Nagra SN is/was one of the premier miniature analog recorders and was used not only by the film industry, but also for espionage. The craftsmanship is often compared to that of a Swiss watch.
