1. Technical Note No. 104. Preparation of Problems for the BRL Calculating Machines. Aberdeen, MD: Ballistic Research Laboratories, 1949. 4to. Printed wrappers, bound with staples. Light soiling and marginal dampstaining to wrappers, marked "Eniac Branch" in ink at top edge of front wrapper.
2. Technical Note No. 141. Description and Use of the ENIAC Converter Code. Aberdeen, MD: Ballistic Research Laboratories, 1949. 4to. Printed wrappers, bound with staples. Stains, soiling, rust marks around staples, some creasing.
3. FRITZ, W.BARKLEY. Memorandum Report No. 582: Description of the ENIAC Converter Code. Aberdeen, MD: Ballistic Research Laboratories, 1951. 4to. Printed wrappers, bound with staples. Creasing and light soiling to wrappers, marked "Eniac Room Copy" in ink at top edge of front wrapper.
4. Engineering Report on the Static Magnetic Memory for the ENIAC. Philadelphia: Burroughs Corporation, 1953. Quarter cloth and brown stiff paper report covers, original red printed wrappers bound in, mimeographed schematics stapled to inside cover and recto of front wrapper. Rubbed, wear to spine, tears to title page and list of contributors, wear and soiling to page edges.
Provenance: Melvin Wrublewski (ownership signature to 4th item); Winifred S. Jonas, ENIAC/EDVAC/ORDVAC programmer at BRL.
A selection of technical reports on changes and improvements made to the ENIAC over years including converting it to a stored-fixed program computer through the use of converter code and a 100-word static magnetic core memory developed by the Burroughs Corporation.
