Almost circular, the migakiji (polished) ground inlaid in gold, silver, and shakudō with autumn plants and butterflies; with a Hozon Tōsōgu (Sword Fitting Worthy of Preservation) certificate # 457435 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Tōken Hozon Kyōkai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword) dated February 24, 2009, and with a wood storage box (2)
