Almost circular, chiselled in openwork silhouette with open and closed sensu (folding fans), with silver nunome overlay of cherry blossoms; with a Hozon Tōsōgu (Sword Fitting Worthy of Preservation) certificate # 463729 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Tōken Hozon Kyōkai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword) dated November 2, 2011, and with a wood storage box (2)
