The saddle of wood lacquered on the pommel and cantle with sayagata (key-fret) patterns in gold hiramaki-e on a black-lacquer ground, the interior and the seat decorated in gold mura-nashiji and black lacquer, signed on the underside with a kaō and spurious date Eishō jūgonen (1518), the iron stirrups decorated with an overall design of sayagata, the interior red lacquer, signed on the uprights Ōshū no jū Fujiwara Masayoshi saku (3)
