Almost circular, chiseled in relief openwork and with inlay of copper, silver, and gold, depicting Kajiwara Genda Kagesue, identified by a branch of prunus thrust into his quiver, fighting in the Ikuta Woods during the Battle of Ichinotani (1184); with a Tokubetsu Hozon Tōsōgu (Sword Fitting Especially Worthy of Preservation) certificate # 228933 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Tōken Hozon Kyōkai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword) dated June 26, 2009, and with a wood storage box (2)
