1. Photograph Signed ("Victoria Mary / Duchess of York / 1897"), imperial albumen print portrait of Queen Mary in gown and tiara, 345 x 235 mm, inscribed at upper left corner, some toning to image, framed to 510 x 405 mm.
2. Photograph Signed ("Mary R / 1949"), silver print portrait of Queen Mary, 210 x 160 mm laid down to larger mat, photographer's signature ("Hay Wrightston / London") in pencil at upper left margin, c.1947, framed to 455 x 370 mm.
3. Photograph Signed ("Mary R") and dated, gelatin silver print portrait of Queen profile, 1935, laid down to large mat, photographer's imprint ("Hay Wrightson / 41 New Bond St. W") printed to upper margin of mat, framed.
4. LORD AND LADY MOUNTBATTEN. Photograph Signed ("Dickie" and "Edwina"), gelatin silver print portrait of the couple in royal garb as Viceroy of India, inscribed at lower center by Lady Mountbatten ("A Souvenir of India / 1947-1948"), photographer's signature ("Kinsey") at lower right, some oxidation to image, framed.

A selection of individual photographs of Queen Mary, together with a portrait of the Mountbattens taken during the period in which Lord Mountbatten oversaw the transition of India from colonial subject to independent nation.
