A TANG-STYLE POTTERY FIGURE OF A LOKAPALA

Standing on the back of a seated buffalo and rockwork base, the right arm dramatically raised and the left placed on the hip, dressed in elaborate robes and armor, the epaulettes formed as fanged and horned elephant masks, a phoenix with outstretched wings perched atop the guardian's head.
