Shaindy Fenton was a socialite in Fort Worth, Texas who became an important dealer of Pop Art in the Southwest. She became friends with Warhol, commissioning him to complete three silkscreen portraits of her on canvas. This print is a study of one of the paintings. Illustrated in Feldman & Schellmann, page 292.
