ROBERT WELCH: A CASED SILVER AND SILVER GILT COMMEMORATIVE GOBLET,

London 1978
Made to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the founding of the White Tower, the tapering bowl engraved with a band inscribed 'HM Royal Palace fortress of the Tower of London', the stem centred with a parcel gilt model of the White Tower, on a spot hammered octafoil spreading foot, the original cylindrical case and associated papers, height 19cm, weight 10.5oz, together with a rose bowl, Sheffield, 1965, on four paw feet and with domed pierced cover with three taper holders, 11.5cm high, total weight 27oz.
