  Buyers' Obligations

  ALL BIDDERS MUST AGREE THAT THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD BONHAMS' CONDITIONS OF SALE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM, AND AGREE TO PAY THE BUYER'S PREMIUM AND ANY OTHER CHARGES MENTIONED IN THE NOTICE TO BIDDERS. THIS AFFECTS THE BIDDERS LEGAL RIGHTS.

  Buyers' Premium and Charges

  For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

  Buyer's Premium Rates
  27.5% on the first £20,000 of the hammer price;
  26% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £20,000 up to and including £700,000;
  20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £700,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
  and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

  VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.

  Collection Notices

  PURCHASED LOTS

  All purchased lots will be stored at the Bonhams Collectors' Motorcycles Bicester Heritage address – The Guard House, Bicester Heritage, Bicester, OX26 5HA, UK. PURCHASED LOTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. To arrange a scheduled collection, (either by the buyer or their shipper), please email [email protected] or call +44 (0)20 8963 2817.

  Please note Bonhams do not provide shipping/shipping quotes, neither do Bonhams pack lots. Should you wish to organise collection of your lots via a third party carrier, they must check and pack lots on your behalf upon collection.

  Shippers or agents wishing to collect on behalf of the purchaser must provide written instruction from the client before Bonhams release the lot(s). All purchases are at the buyers risk from the fall of the hammer.

  Storage Notices

  STORAGE CHARGES

  All purchased lots that remain uncollected after Tuesday 3rd May 2022 will be charged storage fees.

  From Wednesday 4th May 2022:-

  All lots will be charged a minimum £1 +VAT per lot per day.

  Large, heavy or fragile lots (marked with a single diamond in the online catalogue) will be charged at £5 +VAT per lot per day.
