A James II silver tankard

St John Hoyte, London 1686
Plain almost straight sided body, cast bifurcated thumb-piece, hinged lid with flat top and shaped decoration to the front rim, the handle with engraved initials R*D and flower motif, height 17.2cm, weight 24.9oz.
