Two Meissen figural double-salts, late 19th century; together with a Meissen group of putti with a dolphin, late 19th century

After the models by M.V. Acier of 1768-1770 depicting a male and female cook holding a saucepan and a goose, respectively, seated between two flower-encrusted shells with flowers and insects painted on the inside, the bases moulded with scrollwork heightened in puce, turquoise and gilding, and in gilding, respectively; the group of two putti with a dolphin after the model by J.J. Kaendler and F.E. Meyer of 1749, the base moulded with gilt-edged scrollwork, the salts: 24.5cm across; the putti with dolphin: 20cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (with one incised cancellation mark on the putti), impressed model number C80 to the male cook and incised C 81 (female cook) and 1145 (putti), impressed numerals, various painters' numbers (restored) (3)
