A Meissen group emblematic of Music, late 19th century

After the 18th century model by M. V. Acier, with three putti wearing draperies and holding various instruments, a music stand in front of one, seated or standing on rockwork, the base edged with moulded classical friezes, 23cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model number N.10 (some losses and old restoration)
