A Meissen figure of 'Count Brühl's tailor', late 19th century

After the 18th century model by J.J. Kaendler, wearing a yellow floral coat and holding scissors in his right hand, a tub with baby goats on his back, riding on a goat with a bag slung over its neck, the rectangular base applied with foliage and heightened in gilding, 23cm high, 17cm long, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model number 171, impressed numeral, painter's mark 20 in black (some restoration)
