A Meissen group of a hawk with a partridge, second half 19th century

Modelled by E.A. Leuteritz, the hawk feathering its wings and holding its prey on a rocky base applied with leaves and a branch at the rear, naturalistically modelled and coloured, gilt-edged base, 34cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, indistinct painter's mark in red (tail feathers restored)
