signed 'A Rodin' (on the back of the left shoulder), inscribed with the foundry mark 'Alexis. Rudier Fondeur. Paris' (on the back of the neck) and stamped with the raised signature 'A. Rodin' (on the inside of the base)
bronze with green and brown patina

Conceived in 1870. This bronze version cast in 1944 by the Alexis Rudier Foundry
