the dial signed R.STEWART, PARIS, the movement stamped A*B
the clock of rectangular form, with swept moulded top, the 4'' porcelain Arabic dial painted to the centre with butterflies and foliage below a further panel painted with game birds, flanked by rectangular pilasters on moulded plinth base and paw feet, with giltwood stand, the brass twin train movement with Brocot type escapement striking on a gong, the garniture of slender urn form with elephantine handles and knopped finials painted with further game birds on conforming pedestal plinth footed bases and giltwood stands, with pendulum and key, 41.5cm high overall (3)
