the case surmounted by a spiral twist handle above floral engraved glazed inspection panel with glazed side panels between spiral twist corner columns with floral capitals, the engraved moulded base on block feet, the ivory Arabic chapter ring within a pierced silvered mask engraved with scrolling foliage, subsidiary alarm setting dial and blued steel hands, the movement with silvered lever platform escapement with bimetallic balance, with separate alarm train and repeating the hour on gong,
