A George III oak dresser

1765-1790, the superstructure with a pierced scrolled frieze above two central shelves flanked by two pigeon holes above shaped panelled doors, enclosing six shelves, over three frieze drawers and three raised panelled doors, on shaped bracket feet, 189cm wide x 52cm deep x 216cm high, (74in wide x 20in deep x 85in high)

Saleroom notices

Provenance: Previously by repute at Little Aston Hall, near Tamworth in Staffordshire. The offered lot was purchased on 7 May 1959 from A.T. Silvester and Sons Ltd., Warwickshire, by the father of the current owner and vendor. Please see online to view a copy of this 1959 invoice.
