A Derby coffee can and saucer by George Complin and William Billingsley, circa 1791-95

Painted by Complin with a detailed arrangement of fruit including fruiting vines, peaches, blackberries, hazelnuts and a pear, two goldfinches perched on a woody stem above the group, the salmon-coloured grounds with white enamel dots and gilt stars, reserving panels of pink rose sprigs by Billingsley, saucer 13.1cm diam, crown, crossed batons, D mark and pattern 221 in puce (2)
