Footnotes

"The certain is an illusion. I like the uncertain."

I am a digital artist and fascinated by the blockchain. I create animated collages in which the physical is mixed with digital. From this, new poetic worlds arise in which one does not know exactly whether they are real or not.

I would describe my works as fictional digital realism. Images that float and connect between authenticity and manipulation. They show something familiar being broken. Elements merge with others but are partly separated again by hard edges. The images create a subtle confusion and question the claim to reality as such. A mixture of static and moving images that poetically tell of ideas, dreams, feelings and reality. They are conceptual, but do not forget the feelings. My pictures must also be able to function without an intellectual background.

uNtitlEd has a mystical vibe to it, reflecting the state in Crypto Art and blockchain technology as it affects me. It is emerging and not yet defined. It is the new thing that is spreading and has a hard time establishing itself.

It's a completely new context in which to present art. It has the uncertain and new that is so exciting in art and that I have always been looking for. Only our imagination is the limit. The plunge into the unknown, even if you already have an idea where it could go and where you come out.
