Albumen print cabinet card photograph, 4 ½ x 7 ½ inches laid down to 5 x 8 inch board, lacking imprint or label to verso, 2 inch crease at upper margin, some wear. WITH: Albumen print cabinet card of donkey trains at similar mining camp, 5 x 8 inches, imprint of E.E. Pascoe, "Creede's Scenic Photographer," Denver and Amethyst, CO, crease at upper margin, corners bumped.
Provenance: purchased at California show, 1992.
A striking image of a large crowd gathered outside the tent labeled in the negative as "Bob Ford's Dance Hall" (next door to the Leadville "Headquarters"), as a wagon carries Ford's body away.
