JAMES, FRANK. 1843-1915. Gelatin silver print cabinet card, 4 x 5 ¾ inches, laid down to 7 3/8 x 5 ¼ inch board, photographer's imprint at lower mount ("Guerin / St. Louis"), titled in the negative ("Frank James / copyright 1898"), very fine condition.
Provenance: purchased Gary Hendershott Auctions, June 15, 2003.

An extremely fine copy of the later Frank James portrait, taken after his release from prison.
