CODY CALENDAR.

The Cody Calendar 1899 / The Date Marked Thus X Indicates the Day Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders Will Exhibit in This City. n.p.: 1899.
Chromolithographic broadside, 303 x 212 mm, laid down to larger sheet and framed. Dampstaining to mount but broadside generally clean.

Rare advance publicity sheet produced by Cody's Wild West show. This example is blank, but clearly the show would mark dates on the calendar in red Xs for each new city's show schedule, and then distribute them to potential customers. The artwork on this broadside includes an illustration of Buffalo Bill as a scout in 1869, a buffalo hunt, and two battle scenes.
