BUFFALO BILL SILVER COIN POCKET WATCH.

Designed in coin silver with a manual wind movement, engraved "Buffalo Bill" on the front of the case, with an image of a Buffalo standing atop a globe featuring the Western hemisphere on the back, measures 2 3/8 x 3 1/2in, movement signed Elgin National Watch Co., numbered #3291734 and V3949, suspended from a gold fill watch chain.
Provenance: purchased Cowan's Auctions, Cincinnati, OH, June 6, 2008, lot 472.

This Buffalo Bill pocket watch was likely a presentation in celebration of one of his world tours.
