Two ivory figure netsuke
Edo period (1615-1868) to Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th century
The first two demons climbing on top of an oversized and elaborately decorated pipe case and tobacco pouch, unsigned, 5.5cm (2 3/16in) long; the second of okimono-style with three demons dressed as warriors, one having fallen backwards and another wielding a hoe, signed Ten, 5.4cm (2 1/8in) long. (2).
