Three ivory figure netsuke
Edo period (1615-1868) to Meiji era (1868-1912), 18th to 19th century
The first Raijin leaning against his drum, Fujin leaning over his shoulder with his bag of wind around his neck, signed Masanobu, 3.6cm (1 7/16in) long; the second a hungry spirit sprawled on a large lotus leaf with a ladle, signed Masakazu, 4.7cm (1 7/8in) long; the third a demon carrying a battered straw hat behind his back, another demon cowering beneath him, unsigned, 4cm (1 9/16in) high.
