Four small ivory netsuke
Edo period (1615-1868) to Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th century
The first an arhat painting a scroll, watched by two demons and a young girl, signed Mitsuo, 4cm (1 9/16in); the second Fujin carrying his huge bag of wind, unsigned, 2.7cm (1 1/16in) high; the third a man cleaning the knee of a large demon, unsigned, 2.8cm (1 1/8in) high; the fourth two adult demons, a young demon on one's back, signed Minkoku, 3.5cm (1 3/8in) high. (4).
